Safeguarding

Safeguarding

The Parish of Bengeo is committed to safeguarding as an essential part of church life.

We do all we can to keep people safe in our church. We promote the welfare of children, young people and adults. We will take care to identify where a person may present a risk to others, and offer support to them whilst taking steps to mitigate such risks.

In church we take appropriate steps to maintain a safer environment for all and to practise fully and positively Christ’s compassion for children, young people and adults; to respond sensitively and considerately to their needs in order to help keep them safe from harm.

Although safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone here in The Parish of Bengeo; Anne Sentance is our designated Safeguarding Lead and can be contacted about any safeguarding matter on 01992 308436 or email her at: safeguarding@parishofbengeo.com.

You can also speak to our Parish Priest, Rev’d Robert Thompson on 01992 413691 or leave an email via info@parishofbengeo.com
